About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website. By browsing the site or sending us a message through it, you are agreeing to them. If you do not agree, the right thing to do is stop using the site, and you can still simply call (503) 269-7812 instead.

These terms cover the website. They are not the agreement for pest control work. Scope, pricing, scheduling and anything we commit to for an actual treatment are agreed directly with you before the work happens, and that agreement, not this page, governs the service.

What this site is, and what it is not

This site describes the pest control services Cherry City Pest Control offers and the Salem-area communities it serves, and gives you two ways to get in touch. It is information, not a quote and not a contract.

The general pest information on this site (seasonal pest activity, warning signs, what a treatment involves, typical market costs) is background written to help you understand a problem before you call about it. It is not a diagnosis of what is happening at your property and it is not a price. Only an inspection tells you what you actually have and what treating it actually costs.

Where this site cites a third party, such as Oregon State University Extension research on stinging-insect seasonality, or published market data on Oregon pest control pricing, the citation is to that source and the figures are theirs, not a Cherry City Pest Control price or promise.

Contacting us through this site

When you send a message through the contact form you are asking us to get back to you, and we will, during business hours. Sending a message does not book an appointment and does not create a service agreement. An appointment exists once we have spoken and confirmed it.

Please send accurate information. We call the number you give us and email the address you give us, and a wrong digit is the most common reason a request goes unanswered. Please do not use the form to send anything unlawful, abusive, or designed to harm the site, and please do not send financial, health or government identification details. We do not ask for them and do not need them.

If the problem is urgent, such as an active wasp nest or anything where waiting is not sensible, call (503) 269-7812 rather than using the form.

Text messages

Our forms include an optional box for text messages from Cherry City Pest Control. If you tick it, you agree to receive occasional marketing texts, such as special offers, discounts and service updates, at the mobile number you gave us. Ticking the box is never a condition of getting a quote or service, and leaving it unticked does not change how we answer your request.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Text HELP for assistance, or call us. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages; you will get one final text confirming you are unsubscribed, and no further marketing texts after that. To start again, tick the box on a form or ask us.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your number and your consent is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Who owns what is on this site

The text, photographs, layout, logo and name on this site belong to Cherry City Pest Control or are used by it with permission. You are welcome to read the site, print a page for your own use, and link to it. You may not copy the content to republish it as your own, or use the Cherry City Pest Control name or logo in a way that suggests a relationship that does not exist.

Links to other sites

This site links to places we do not run: a mapping service for directions, Google for our reviews, our Facebook page, and sources we cite. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Service descriptions, service areas and published hours can change, and the authoritative answer to "do you cover my town" or "are you open right now" is the one you get on the phone.

This site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Cherry City Pest Control is not liable for loss arising from your use of the website itself or from reliance on general information published on it. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your rights under an agreement for pest control work we have actually agreed to perform.

Governing law

Cherry City Pest Control operates from Salem, Oregon, and these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. The current version is always the one on this page, dated at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
